Another recent paper: Collaborating with others from different disciplines comes with its own set of challenges. In this paper, we discuss perspectives, how to manage different expectations, and how rewarding and useful cross-disciplinary work is. https://t.co/2UldvZhjks
In summer 2022, we needed a comprehensive review of how spoken narratives were used in research... and decided to write one ourselves!
Almost 2 years later, our paper is finally published! 🎉📚 (it's been a journey! 😂)

Just arrived in sunny SF for #CNS2023 ☀️
If you wanna talk about #sleep and learning, come see my poster on Tuesday (F64) 🧠 🎹 🛌
Also, if some fellow @CNSmtg attendants wanna go for a run in the following days, DM me ! 🏃🏻♂️

Off to San Francisco for #CNS2023 (thanks to a travel award from @theCRBLM !)✈️🌴
If you're around @CNSmtg on Sunday March 26 (5-7pm), come see my poster (C1) & I'll tell you all about #misophonia and how we use attention to music to modulate negative responses to sounds!
Our new paper on a low-cost, open source, portable, closed-loop brain stimulation device. Currently it's set up to detect sleep spindles in EEG and output sound (for sleep and memory studies) but it could detect any brain signal and output TMS, tDCS, tVNS, whatever! More later...
New paper on #sleep (with @MA_Savard @bchandra_pitt ) showing that a nap affects higher-level perceptual learning, but not basic sound encoding. In brief... 🧵

We're looking for a few MA/PhD students in auditory #cognition, #sleep, #memory, and/or #portableneuro in extreme environments (e.g. lava tubes). We need people with some technical skills/interest because we do lots of neuroimaging (fMRI, MEG, EEG, fNIRS + ML). Please RT!
Introducing PsychOut!, an initiative of @Concordia Psych students to have students aged 16-19 to follow their thesis research. We have 19 young scientists who would love to mentor 1-3 students about research and uni over the next 6 months.

Preprint from me, @zatorrelab and @sylvain_baillet. We demonstrate using #magnetoencephalography that a high frequency evoked brain response to periodic auditory information called the frequency-following response shows 'true' oscillatory #entrainment
