Academic #running is back๐ฅ
#SfN23 is next week!
๐ง If any fellow researchers want to join me on a social/tourism run, DM me!
If you donโt like ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ but wanna know about #auditory#stimulation of #sleep#spindles ๐ค , you can DM me or come see my poster (305.05)

In sum, we found that orbitofrontal regions make a crucial contribution to the auditory-evoked slow components that underlies that underlies the effect of #CLAS on #physiology and #memory.

Finally, we observed that local upstates in AC and OFC only correspond with EEG upstates about ~11% of the time. Critically, it is the OFC state that matters for generating slow waves. This further implicates OFC in SO generation, and implies that #CLAS can be optimized!
Today is the last day of #OHBM2023, meaning the last opportunity to come see one of my posters ๐ !
If youโre interested in auditory stimulation during sleep, come find me !

Hey there, @OHBM attendees! As both an academic and a runner, I love taking advantage of conferences to explore cities while running. This year, as #OHBM is at home, I've prepared exciting routes starting from the conference center, showcasing Montreal's coolest spots ๐ฅ
@OHBM_Trainees Hey OHBMrunners ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Thanks for the positive feedback ! ๐ฅ
The second social run will happen tomorrow morning !
โฐ : 7AM
๐ : easy 5K
๐: letโs meet next to the fountain in front of the Palais des congrรจs.
I will be wearing a red cap.

Just arrived in sunny SF for #CNS2023 โ๏ธ
If you wanna talk about #sleep and learning, come see my poster on Tuesday (F64) ๐ง ๐น ๐
Also, if some fellow @CNSmtg attendants wanna go for a run in the following days, DM me ! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

Our paper on the Portiloop if finally out! We present a portable, open (sw/hw) device for real-time #brain#stimulation, using sleep spindles as a case study. Work by Valenchon, Bouteiller, Sobral, L'Heureux @polymtl, @HugoJourde@EBJCoffey@Concordia

I'm a @Concordia University Research Chair in Sleep and Sound (New Scholar). Thank you to mentors and colleagues in the dept @psyc_concordia ๐ฅฐ
(And to whomever let me assign a large part of the budget to lab road trips and writing retreats๐)
#ohbm2022 poster today: "Sleep Spindles: A Model for Exploring Functional Connectivity Metrics in MEG" WTh215 (in which we dig into volume models and connectivity metrics)
Come and meet with me today at #OHBM2022 poster session to talk about sleep spindles and why I think they might not be blocking sound after all !
