@NZMAGAMike The rest of us worked our arses off, went without to pay loans off.
He qualified over 30 years ago his fees would have been relatively low.
This is poor financial management/assuming the rules are for everyone else but you.
Bob shd contact IRD and make a plant to start paying.
@FemCondition@DianeDiy@DogLoverOfPI These worlds are obviously not the same one we live in. No man is feeding a baby any sort of nutritional value with secretions.
This is peak lunacy.
I hope you realise only the very dim or very sick are living in your crazy world.
@Bridgetpee@Suitandtie9999 Lol. Some of us are innovators, scientists and with a hell of a lot more inside knowledge of the road blocks successive govts have put in the way of tech.
You are a prime example of why that will never change.
@Bridgetpee@Suitandtie9999 I watched her dismiss an environmental solution because it would also put $ in farmers pockets, preferring to keep framing it as a problem that requires reduced farming.
Yes, they're all to blame.
@Suitandtie9999 Chloe wants farming gone and resents farmers earning an income from it.
I watched her react to a solution that would reduce emissions but also increase farm income. She hated it, shot down a benefit for the env because it would also benefit farmers (and, if course, our economy).
@wekatweets@PronouncedHare The issue is what we define as rich and super rich. 33% at 78K is too much. 160K is barely enough for a family.
Its very hard to do more than exist-especially now when rates can be another 10%+ on take home pay.
Same goes for business.
We need motivation to do more, not less.
@TaxpayersUnion Bear in mind too that they are now passing off physician associates as doctors too.
In my experience they are shit.
Also 100% overseas trained which isn't helpful.
@wekatweets@PronouncedHare No. But there's an uneven playing field in business and the 33%tax at under 80k is wrong. What is considered the middle is no longer. And unlike the bottom and public servants theres no (near) automatic relief in tough times.
Making it harder to escape the squeeze is bad on bad.
@wekatweets@PronouncedHare Agreed π€·ββοΈ
But as there's no sign of any party wanting to reduce the squeeze we have to take it on ourselves to reduce the pressure.
Taxing and regulating our business into oblivion then taxing us personally to the point where we are only ever scraping by is not the answer.
@wekatweets@PronouncedHare Ah I see. We should be happy with our lot and not strive for better. We should make more $ but be happy to hand it over to others. Work harder for less.
Whats not to like?!
@wekatweets@PronouncedHare Assuming we all sell tatt and instant garbage like the Warehouse.
B2B, not so much.
The middle is always squeezed. Now they are hell bent on removing motivation to climb out of the middle.
@aucklandaussie@PronouncedHare 33% on under 80k is already too much.
It's not $2200 in isolation. It's $2200 on top of everything else. Fine if you're on a salary but that $2200 is often very very hard won in business.
