More than three years later, one question still refuses to go away: Why did it take eight hours to call 911 and why does Law Enforcement not seem to care? #Idaho4#BryanKohberger#SyRay
Despite years of investigation, we still don't have a satisfactory explanation for that extraordinary delay.
Then there's cell phone expert Sy Ray. Before changing sides in the case, he disclosed in open court that a Stingray device—a sophisticated cell-site simulator—may have been used. If true, that revelation could have violated the strict non-disclosure agreements required of those trained to use such technology.
Coincidence? Or is there more to this story than we've been told?
Perhaps it's time to revisit my film from more than two years ago and ask the questions once again: Was 1122 King Road under surveillance? And could a Stingray device have prevented or blocked 911 calls from the victims?
The questions remain. The answers do not.
...
This video, narrated by reporter Tim Johnson, explores the controversial use of cell-site simulators—commonly known as Stingrays—by law enforcement agencies. These surveillance tools are suitcase-sized devices designed to mimic legitimate cell phone towers, allowing authorities to track individual mobile devices in real time (0:32-1:03).
Key points discussed in the video include:
• Secrecy and Non-Disclosure: The FBI mandates that law enforcement agencies sign strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) when purchasing these devices. These agreements often prevent police from publicly acknowledging the use of the technology, even when evidence gathered by it is used in criminal court proceedings (1:35-1:46, 2:12-2:21).
• Impact on Innocent Users: The operation of these simulators can interfere with mobile communications for people in the vicinity of a deployment. This can result in dropped calls or signal jamming, which carries the significant risk of blocking 911 emergency calls (2:22-2:33, 3:15-3:23).
• Evasion of Legal Scrutiny: Because of the required secrecy, some law enforcement agencies have reportedly attempted to hide the use of Stingray data in court by claiming information was obtained through a "confidential informant" rather than disclosed as electronic surveillance (2:49-3:03).

Where in the world is Mr. Kohberger? IDOC suggested video was A.I. but if it wasn't A.I, they would investigate /ensure the person(s) would be held to account. The news release is still on the IDOC website; its been crickets for nearly a year. Vote Here: https://t.co/htMhBNa0vK
