I haven't had many interactions with Cimo over the years but each one was incredibly pleasant. A trailblazer for the community with some of the most important videos in the sphere. Rest easy, Cimoooooooo
Rest in peace, Alex
So sad to wake up to these news, I only talked/worked with you a few times but it was always such a pleasure, sending much love to you and your loved ones
Fuck cancer
This man was a lot to us all:
An inspiration.
A founder.
A friend.
A husband.
A fighter.
And above all, a good person.
No one can replace what you've meant to so many.
Rest now, legend.
I’m genuinely overwhelmed with emotions. My heart sunk when hearing the news of @Cimoooooooo. We lost a legend and an even better person. I hate that this was my only picture with him. God bless you Alex ❤️.
I had the honor and joy to meet you at YCS London 2019. It was a brief moment, we had a good laugh and recorded some deck profiles together. Never knew that would be the last time.
Thank you @Cimoooooooo for what you did for the community. RIP 🙏😔
Alex inspired little me to give YouTube a try 11 years ago, where I loved his “Tech Tuesday” videos among many others. A pillar of our community, he’ll be remembered forever.
My thoughts and prayers to those whose hearts he touched, to his family and friends. Rest in peace ❤️
when i rediscovered yugioh as a teen, i followed along with the progression series every week. then i watched masochist every week
it feels unreal that a man who helped shape yugioh into a defining pillar of my life is gone now. RIP Alex Cimo, you didn't deserve this
