First booklet for after half term ready to go, my fabulous team are starting to work on the rest. If anyone has any to share we’d love to hear from you!
@emmaglover47 Hi Emma! Would you be willing to share? St Ivo are transitioning from Edexcel to AQA and we are trialling some booklets before planning resources for next year. #weareastrea
@aaronaberry Have set up a whole school interview day this year for y13 so hope that will work well, but looking to build skills earlier on, do you do practice interviews in y12 or y13?
I am looking at if there’s anything we can do differently next year to build interview/entrance exam skills earlier on. What are your top tips for Y11/12 students? How does your school help? For stem or any subject) #ASEchat
I’d like to look really closely at how we challenge our able students in science. I have a few ideas of what we do well (Olympiad, Isaac chem at Ks5, big questions and scaffolding in ks4/5) any science specific resources I should be looking at? #asechat
@MrsMlovesSci We are offering alongside GCSE entry for a few students. Tried delivering in class last year but admin wise has been a bit of a pain. Going to try it as an alternative mock this year to build confidence
Summer at the Museums is back! Download the programme now for activities at the Polar Museum and across the Cambridge region with @CamUnivMuseums https://t.co/KwIVYTodLI
@TeacherOfChemi1 Disagree strongly! lots of museums do appropriate child friendly events and initiatives, many are aimed specifically at children. Now if I took her to the after hours cocktail evening at NHM you might have a point......
@JennyAKoenig I can’t find your email again! I was going to email to see if you could help with Y13 practice interviews in Nov? Could you ping me an email at the school address?
@kdholmwood@CantabKitty@PriyamvadaGopal Some medics did research about how a male Dr is more likely to be introduced to new colleagues formally and a female by first names, forget where, but still an issue clearly. Language and world view too strongly tied for use to discount the importance.
