It melted my labor mama heart to have my sons and nephews out rallying to #PassThePROAct! They’re the future and they deserve the best in a job and career.
I love this @EricaGroshen interview. Especially her reframing of a “skill shortage” problem as a skill information problem. In so many ways we’re getting the “skill shortage” all wrong and workers suffer. #skills#workforcedevelopment#workforce https://t.co/CJ94rXvfDo
The @WAAFLCIO is going to have a virtual booth at the #WinWithSharedWork2021 conference next week. Keeping workers working is at the center of the Shared Work program. Hope you’ll join us at this @ESDwaWorks conference to learn more. It’s June 8-9. https://t.co/bdRUzMYv4u
It’s an honor to be back at the @WAAFLCIO, helping workers during really hard times. And advocating for a workforce dev system that doesn’t just fill jobs, but builds rewarding careers. #workforcedevelopment#careerdevelopment#1u

I started reading this article to better understand the science and ended it as awestruck by all the workers that make the vaccine possible every day. They're amazing. https://t.co/Gh1WOmfjK3
@SRuhle It was a crossroad I never thought I’d be at. I left my job and am very grateful I had enough of an economic safety net to do so. My heart totally breaks for the moms that don’t.
@SRuhle Thanks for inquiring. “Had to” is still a hard concept to own but I did feel like my choice was to keep my high-level, high-paying job that didn’t allow me to work remotely - and watch my teen/pre-teen kids struggle in school from afar - or leave my job to help them.
This should be such a public policy no-brainer. We should #buyamerica and invest in our workforce while we make desperately needed investments in our infrastructure. Thanks @KeepitMadeinUSA for your advocacy! https://t.co/oPpz49CMAX
