The official Twitter feed of the Civil Nuclear Police Federation - Representing the highly skilled and hard working members of the Civil Nuclear Constabulary
We were so touched when RPD Koda of @CNPolFed joined our family today, not just because of the faith put in us, but also because of the moving tribute Koda’s dad shared with us.
Here it is:
‘Koda was my first General Purpose PD, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better dog.
He was bred by @GMPDogs and I've had him since he was 9 weeks old. He's taught me so much, I am so grateful to him for everything I have learned from him, he has definitely made me a better handler.
A tear was shed when he retired, his head was still very much in the game but sadly old age caught up with him and it wasn't viable to put him forward for licensing this year.
We've done so much together, I am indebted to him for his unwavering loyalty and for protecting me and the public since he was first licensed in 2015.
He really is my best friend.’
This really could not be a better example of how handlers feel about their animals. The bond is unbreakable, the connection and loyalty like no other.
Welcome to the NFRSA RPD Koda, we are very proud to have the opportunity to be there for you if you need us.
Thank you for your service, and enjoy that well-deserved retirement. 💜
Our specially trained #ProjectServator officers welcomed the opportunity to speak to members of the public at Sizewell, recruiting more eyes and ears to help keep our sites and wider communities safe.
The loss of PC Rosie Prior is being felt hard in North Yorkshire and beyond. She is in our hearts today, as are her family, friends and those who served alongside her. Rest easy, Rosie. https://t.co/tf3EcISPgE

As well as raising many thousands of pounds, Adrian secured a place in the Guinness Book of Records, having run the @LondonMarathon dressed as a car. Despite his own challenges, Adrian has and continues to support several colleagues through difficult personal situations.

That's how quickly our CEO, Gary Thwaite, completed the New York Marathon yesterday 🙌🏼
He ran in support of @PCHughesMEM and there's still time to chip in https://t.co/ahD51bcOob
