It was a joy to be there in Tokyo with Greg Stewart when he won his first Paralympic gold. And it’s the same here in Paris today.
Stewart is the first 🇨🇦 Paralympian to win back-to-back shot put gold.
In his first-ever race at a Paralympic Games, Canada’s Cody Fournie has won GOLD 🇨🇦🥇

Just the best Physio in the world with some of her crew.
None of us would be where we’re at without Marilou, I’m pretty sure she went to Hogwarts school of Physio, because she’s definitely magic.

U.S. 400m hurdler @AnnaCockrell48 spoke about #Paris2024 being the first Olympic Games in history with full gender parity on the field of play. Believes there is still more work to be done.
🗣️ "It's kind of hard to believe that this is the first time. It's simultaneously hard to believe but also not surprising. I think it’s very exciting. You hope that as gender equity increases, we have the summer event with women competing but you hope there’s this same level of coverage across sports and across genders. I don’t know if that’s the case.
We reached one milestone. But now it’s about can we get women’s sports and their games on primetime. Can we make sure we’re not panning away during their moments? How do we get equal coverage? Not just equal participation but equal coverage and equal attention.”
She added:
"All we can do as women in this sport is to continue to advocate for ourselves, advocate for all women – not just the women who present super feminine or traditionally feminine – and women who are presenting outside of the gender binary, who are LGBTQ+ and trying to be good allies and advocates for each other."
