Pendant plusieurs mois, la journaliste allemande Angelique Geray anime une fausse chaîne sous l’identité de « Katya », militante pro-russe.

Très vite, elle reçoit des missions : photographier des sites en Allemagne, surveiller des membres de la CDU, des entreprises d’armement et des ONG, ou encore recueillir des données sur leurs employés.

Le recrutement commence par de petites tâches rémunérées — prendre une photo, récupérer un colis, acheter une carte SIM — avant de passer à des missions plus sensibles. Tout se fait principalement sur Telegram.

Jovica Jovitch, responsable politique du parti rouge-brun BSW, contacte même « Katya » et lui conseille notamment de se filmer en train de danser sur un drapeau de l’OTAN. Il nie aujourd’hui tout lien avec les services russes.

Après avoir révélé son infiltration, la journaliste a reçu des menaces de mort.

Today, Russia produces 140 ballistic missiles per month. According to NATO standards, to down 140 missiles you use 280 anti-ballistic interceptors. The ratio is one to two. But you will never get 280 Patriot missiles per month. Even getting 100 missiles is a huge challenge.

And this is what I want – to have 100–120 interceptors for the difficult, cold months ahead. We could get them from the U.S., either from stocks or production lines. There is political will in the U.S. to help and sell the interceptors, but production is not that high for now. That means existing stocks are an option. Will the Americans be ready to give us something from stocks? I don’t know. We will see.

Countries in the Middle East – we are in dialogue with them too. As well as some package – not particularly large – from the Europeans. And with all due respect to the Europeans, they have helped a lot and we appreciate that, they should share these missiles to help save lives.

🇺🇸 How Trump has spent 1.5 years working to the Kremlin's advantage

Many people have come to believe that Trump is sincere in softening his position toward Ukraine.

However, this looks more like an adjustment of his political rhetoric ahead of the U.S. midterm elections, given that a majority of Americans support continued assistance to Ukraine.

Trump has now been president for a year and a half, and during that time he has done considerable damage to Ukraine — damage that conciliatory words cannot simply erase.

As a result, Ukrainians have accumulated a long list of grievances against Donald Trump.

If we put emotions aside and examine them systematically, a broader picture emerges: his statements, decisions, and political moves have repeatedly benefited the Kremlin — from legitimizing Putin and pressuring Ukraine to weakening Western unity and undermining international law.

Ukrainians’ grievances against Donald Trump are not based on a collection of isolated statements or individual scandals.

They concern a consistent political pattern that has weakened Ukraine, damaged Western unity, blurred Russia’s responsibility for its aggression, and created favorable political and informational conditions for the Kremlin.

The eight major areas in which this policy has manifested itself.

1. LEGITIMIZING RUSSIA AND PUTIN

- He has effectively treated Putin as an equal and legitimate negotiating partner without demanding accountability for Russia’s aggression.

- He repeatedly speaks about the need to “make a deal with Putin” rather than forcing Russia to end its aggression.

- He avoids the straightforward formulation: “Russia is the aggressor; Ukraine is the victim.”

- He has repeatedly placed Ukraine and Russia on the same moral level by speaking about “both sides.”

The consequence is that the Kremlin receives the message that its crimes are no obstacle to international legitimacy.

2. UNDERMINING INTERNATIONAL LAW

- He does not insist on punishment for the aggressor.

- He disregards the principle of the inviolability of internationally recognized borders.

- He promotes the idea of surrendering Ukrainian territory in exchange for “peace.”

In practice, this means that aggression can be rewarded with territorial gains.

That undermines the entire system of international security established after the Second World War.

3. WEAKENING UKRAINE

- He has suspended or delayed U.S. military assistance.

- He has used support for Ukraine as an instrument of political bargaining.

- He has pressured Zelenskyy.

- He has publicly humiliated Ukraine’s leadership.

- He has blamed Ukraine for the war or suggested that Ukraine bears responsibility for it.

By contrast, he has rarely used comparable rhetoric toward the Kremlin.

4. BLURRING THE MORAL REALITY OF THE WAR

Trump systematically:

- avoids describing Russian strikes as terrorism;

- rarely speaks about:

— mass killings;

— the deportation of Ukrainian children;

— torture of civilians;

— the destruction of Ukrainian cities;

— Russia’s attempt to destroy Ukrainian statehood.

Such rhetoric erases the distinction between the perpetrator and the victim.

5. PROVIDING INFORMATIONAL BENEFITS TO THE KREMLIN

Trump has repeatedly echoed or promoted narratives that overlap with Kremlin propaganda:

- “This is not our war.”

- “Ukraine must give up territory.”

- He has exaggerated the scale of U.S. assistance provided to Ukraine.

- He has contributed to creating a negative image of Ukraine and Zelenskyy.

These statements are then actively exploited by Russian propaganda.

6. UNDERMINING WESTERN UNITY

His policies have created:

- an atmosphere of uncertainty;

- doubts about U.S. reliability;

- divisions among allies;

- reduced willingness to support Ukraine.

This uncertainty itself has become one of the greatest strategic gifts to the Kremlin.
