This week I had the pleasure of meeting with Brigadier Wight-Boycott, Commander @RMASandhurst, UK.
Our two nations learn from each other so we can continue to enhance our officer training, and develop capable, resilient, combat-ready officers that can integrate into any team.
This week I handed over Command of the Land Combat College to my good friend, Brigadier Andrew Moss.
Thank you for all the support you have provided my team these past two years. It has been an honour and a privilege to lead such highly motivated and professional men and women.
Congratulations to WO1 Frank Franolic who received his third Federation Star from the Chief of Army recently. Frank has given over fifty years to the Australian Army.

Combat engineers from the School of Military Engineering faced their final activity to pass their Regimental Officer Basic Course after 8 months of training. Congratulations to the graduates, including 29 Australian Army officers, and 5 officers from New Zealand, Fiji and PNG.

The annual Duke of Gloucester Cup is well-known to soldiers from the Royal Australian Regiment. It’s mentally and physically tough, and tests the warfighting skills of soldiers under arduous conditions. Congratulations to all the competitors, and the winning team from 3RAR.

George Mansford, AM, with Sergeant Kim, @51FNQR. George enlisted in the @AustralianArmy as an infantry soldier in 1951. Retired as a brigadier in 1990. Service included Korea, Malayan Emergency, Thai Border, Vietnam, New Guinea and Singapore.🦘
Army’s newest combat engineers recently honed their skills during Exercise Bardia.
Soldiers are tested on field skills, patrolling, clearance of hostile zones, explosives hazard reduction, casualty evacuation and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear decontamination.
The Royal Military College - Duntroon held the Corps of Staff Cadet’s (CSC) dining in night recently. A military tradition that enhances comeraderie and observes long-held customs and traditions.

The Duke of Gloucester Cup is underway – this year run in partnership with School of Infantry and 3 Bde. This annual competition tests the warfighting skills of soldiers from the Royal Australian Regiment.

LT Farida Dad was one of 104 officers to graduate from Duntroon recently. Migrating from Afghanistan as a child, her Army journey began at Kapooka in 2018. After reaching the rank of Corporal, LT Dad commenced officer training at Duntroon in 2023. Congratulations!
