@R_o_d_C@kpmgaustralia Go Rod. There is a very small but connected group calling out this project. Networking with lawyers, EV, Westernport, Latrobe Valley, international & Japanese groups. Have FOI reports. Locals are undermining it but corporate AGL & @timpallas are pushing it
Great STAN #PFAS doco ‘How to poison a planet’ Add irresponsible users @exxonmobil all Aus water treatment plants, State EPAs approving contaminated biosolids & recycled water-they are all killing us bc Aus govt say PFAS is safe @VicGovEPA @carrierfellner
Under ratified Minamata Convention why aren't those spruiking new #coal technologies, aka coal to hydrogen, declaring they need to capture & separate coal mercury emissions??? Also disposing of the mercury adding mega $$$ to the process.
@Integritynow2 Now we know why Australian reports to Stockholm Convention are full of dangerous inaction. Reviews from 2001/2004 of nasty chemicals not ratified including PFAS. Info to public atrocious > needs to be called out. https://t.co/Hdkhqeu5Sh
@barobertson111 Existing gaspipes can only cope with 10-15% hydrogen blend without modifying pipelines otherwise >embrittlement. Still reliant on mega gas or replace whole pipeline for $$$. Been sold a dud.
The PwC scandal shows that consulting firms who leak confidential information and breach public trust should be banned from winning government contracts #auspol

An insult to industrialised #coal communities, once farmland, dying from toxic pollution @Barnaby_Joyce is a very ignorant & arrogant person that should be called out by Health profession @The_Nationals & AUS would be a better place without him @SquizzSTK
"Nationals PM" Barnaby Joyce uses his Santa voice to blame wind power instead of record coal prices.
Because only the fossil fuel companies are allowed to "make money, make money" under the LNP.

@DavidPocock Unfortunately EPA are heavily conflicted covering up PFAS mismanagement of PFAS stockpiles in each state contaminating our waterways & killing wildlife We need @DavidPocock to expose Toxic PFAS seen in public Vic CFA yesterday
New PFAS blog site exposing contamination coverup & dodgy food standards manipulation with govts complicit in deliberate disinformation to undermine health impacts. https://t.co/b1KmvV0zq7 #pfas#water#health#environment#springst#auspol
@OverlordRattus Two recent nuclear Inq's I commented on-Fed https://t.co/jSc0uDyVJD sub 194, Vic https://t.co/uxjk4nyZ0G sub 66. Both want establishment of SMRs elsewhere with new costings vs renewables, etc. Fed LNP wasted years allowing renewables to expand
@OverlordRattus He did actually say that Peter Dutton needs to present the facts to parliament, so it is all on the table to assess and review. That's transparency so Dutton now needs to back this up.
Hero status Mick-Great story/outcome Now AUS & International Govts to ensure contaminated blood is destroyed not circulated to unsuspecting recipients. EPA Prof Mark Taylor should lead this.
@RedCrossAU#PFAS@VicGovEPA@POPsChemicals https://t.co/JcFmzoEXbI
@TalkingPFAS Great for these workers but taking toxic PFAS out of one human to put in another is irresponsible. Appears @RedCrossAU decided to accept the contaminated blood. Were they planning on informing the receiver. What are the disclaimers? #PFAS@VicGovEPA
#CCS studies like this need to underpin Australia's Latrobe Valley #coal to hydrogen decision-making for potential commercial production & blue hydrogens feasibility promised from Fed election Can't just evaluate one step in a process That's false economics
Carbon Capture ("CCS") Has a Methane Problem! An IEEFA analysis finds the effective carbon dioxide capture rate at San Juan -- after including its mine emissions -- would be no more than 72%, not the 90% that Enchant claims. https://t.co/KGUl10cdQh #nmpol#nmleg
@SimonMcGrathAus@KieranPender We do what we can in own regions, local/regional, national
Already groups focusing on 'other' polluters
We need to hold ours accountable & tansparent
Worst is massive water usage & subsutface footprint
Just adds to BIG river in sky & more heavy rain dumps
Yes @stukhan the public voice is growing on #water reform so love your list. NWI should have legal weight, need national investment for recycled water reform which benefits more people OZ wide than couple of expensive dams so greedy farmers can profit more
@JackLit10200548@DanielAndrewsMP@VictorianLabor@rwillingham Can't deny facts Comes down to COMMERCIAL QUANTITY Govt studies have 2-4 mths conventional onshore gas in Gippsland, 7mths in west Small amount tight gas in Seaspray area Industry playing games Govt put up moratorium knowing that after BIG PLAYERS already explored
