“We Are Dying!”
An Urgent Appeal from Kidney Failure Patients in Gaza City
Due to the ongoing Israeli blockade, kidney failure patients in Gaza City are facing a severe shortage of medications and essential medical supplies, along with a decline in the availability of regular dialysis treatment. This situation is placing the lives of hundreds of patients at immediate risk.
We urgently appeal to the international community and humanitarian and medical organizations to intervene immediately to ensure the entry of medicines, medical supplies, and the fuel needed to keep healthcare facilities operating, and to safeguard patients’ right to life-saving treatment.

Atta was diagnosed with autism before the genocide and, like many children with varying degrees of autism, he relied on specialized care and support. During the genocide he was also injured. Since then, the trauma of repeated displacement, bombardment, hunger, and the collapse of Gaza's healthcare and social support systems has taken a devastating toll. His condition has deteriorated. Atta has lost the ability to speak and now struggles to walk.
His mother is raising him on her own. She is not only trying to keep him safe and fed, but also trying to replace services that no longer exist. The therapists, specialists, and support systems that once gave children like Atta a chance to thrive have been destroyed or are no longer accessible.
Today, she is exhausted. Simply asking for help.
Atta urgently needs medication, a proper mattress to protect his fragile body, and specialized food to meet his nutritional needs. The Sameer Project has had to stop responding to appeals for individual cases due to the lack of donations. How can we leave this mother and her son knowing their struggle?? Help us return to Atta and be able to help more cases that require extra care.
