@TruthTrumpPosts@realDonaldTrump Matthew 24:4–5
“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.”
Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
NEW: In a prayer vigil for peace, Pope Leo XIV delivered his sharpest condemnation of the Trump-Vance war on Iran to date.
He called the current moment a “delusion of omnipotence” and condemned the dragging of God's name “into discourses of death.”
Leaders who turn their backs on God, the pope said, have turned themselves and their own power into a “mute, blind, and deaf idol” that demands the whole world bend its knee.
"Enough of war. True strength is shown in serving life."
He told the faithful that he receives letters from children in war zones every day.
“They tell of the pain and sorrow of war, while grown-ups boast of its effects. We must listen to the children.” https://t.co/OYJXiI8rax
IF TRUMP DIDN’T TEAR UP OBAMA’S IRAN NUCLEAR AGREEMENT.
We’d have:
- $ 40 billion more
- 300+ fewer injured Americans
- Over a dozen fewer dead Americans
- $2.49 gasoline
- 0 U.S. bases severely damaged
- Iran’s Uranium capped
- The world a safer place
- A less extreme Supreme Leader in Iran.
Trump is a military moron.
His war, with a price tag of $44 billion and $4+ gas, made us worse off today than we were when he started it.
And if he restarts this war we will be in even worse shape. We must pass our War Powers Resolution to end this war for good.
Gen. Mark Milley: We are unique among the world's militaries. We don't take an oath to a king or a queen, or to a tyrant, or a dictator, and we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator. We don't take an oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution. It is that document that all of us in uniform swear to protect and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We will never turn our back on the Constitution. That is our North Star.
While the world focuses on the destruction in Iran, we must not ignore what Israel is doing in Lebanon.
1,461 have been killed.
4,430 have been injured.
1.2 million have been displaced.
Israel now occupies 14% of Lebanon.
Enough is enough. No more US military aid to Israel.
It doesn't matter what side of the aisle you're on. This President threatening to wipe out an entire civilization is wrong. Speaker Johnson needs to convene the House so we can stop this madness, and the Cabinet has a responsibility to take action.
It’s never been more clear that Donald Trump has completely lost his mind.
It’s our responsibility to call on Congress, the military, and any sane individual in this administration to stop him from committing war crimes against the Iranian people.
We are watching a dangerous and unfit President drag this country toward catastrophe — and Republicans refuse to act.
Invoke the 25th Amendment. Do your fucking job.
I've taught European history for 30 years. Americans have always asked me how the Holocaust was possible, how Germans could have enabled a madman reveling in mass murder to carry out his plans. Now we can see in real time how this is enabled; now we have front-row seats.
America is at a crossroads. It’s time for Donald Trump to be removed from the Presidency. Period.
We need Republicans in Congress and the Cabinet to stand up and act immediately—human lives are on the line.
🚨 MAJOR NEWS: Pope Leo XIV just declared the Iran War unjust.
Called it a war crime. Said it is “not solving anything.”
And told Americans directly — call Congress.
End this war.
Regardless of whether it’s all talk, when the leader of our country expresses plainly genocidal intent, everyone has to do something.
For citizens of all political stripes, it means rejecting this madness. For Congress, it means taking action to rein him in. Now.
The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.
This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people.
We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.

@HillaryClinton warned us:
“This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes – because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin.”
