Our mission is to enhance the safety and well-being of our neighbors through vigilant patrols, active community engagement, and comprehensive support services.
We are heartbroken to learn of the deadly attack earlier today at the Islamic Center of San Diego, where 3 people were killed in what law enforcement is investigating as a hate crime targeting the Muslim community.
The NYPD has increased deployments to masjids across the city out of an abundance of caution. COPCP is in contact with our local precincts and masjid leadership and will be maintaining an increased presence in the community.
If you see anything suspicious, call 911 immediately.
COPCP was glad to assist in escorting students from a local Catholic school during their walkathon, alongside our community partners at the @NYPD75Pct. It was a great morning out with the community and we were happy to play a part in making it a safe and enjoyable experience.
The Cityline Ozone Park Civilian Patrol has been busy the last month, with 30 nights of patrol, 10 evenings of free meals, food pantry operations and a community Eid celebration to close it all out. https://t.co/gXLhgnkoa4
Served more than 300 families just in time for Eid with fresh produce, flour, oil, halal chicken, and fish.
Thank you to @bacdys for partnering with us. As neighbors prepare their holiday meals, support like this ensures that staple items reach the tables where they matter most.

Ramadan Nights 24, 25 & 26 ✅
The final stretch. Our volunteers have been out each night, maintaining a visible presence around local masjids during some of the most sacred nights of the year.
Day 2 of our 6th Annual Halal Hot Meal Distribution is in the books.
Today’s distribution was made possible by the Autar, Bakash, Bouhayat, Mzary, and Paul families. A special thank you to the Bakash family for providing water and dates for today’s guests. https://t.co/eDywgpv4Oi
Great work by our @NYPD106Pct Q-Team officers removing vehicles being stored on our community streets.
This will help free up some much needed parking near MUNA, where we know it is needed.
Ramadan Nights 18, 19, and 20 ✔️
A full weekend of patrol.
As we enter the last 10 nights and the weather begins to warm, we expect to see increased activity throughout the community. Inshallah, we will continue doing our best to be out there each night.
The next Phagwah Parade is scheduled for Sunday, March 29th in Richmond Hill. Assemble at Liberty Ave & 133rd Street at 10:00 AM, parade steps off at noon.
Happy Holi to all celebrating across City Line, Ozone Park, and beyond! 🎨
Throwback to the 2023 Phagwah Parade in Richmond Hill, where we had the privilege of celebrating alongside our neighbors in one of the most vibrant expressions of culture and community this area has.
