@Iancampbell1967 They really should put AC on those busses to Barry, especially in this heat.
No idea why they don't, the fleet has AC capable busses, they just put them on shorter routes.
@CynicalBrit2023@PinkRubberDuck0@mervynpervyn@BBCNews I get it, but a lot of people aren't exactly bright in this country and do need the alert in order to stop unneccecary deaths.
I really hope no-one was adversely affected by this, but I know it is likely.
Carriers and the government need a fool-proof way to disable the alerts.
@CynicalBrit2023@PinkRubberDuck0@mervynpervyn@BBCNews It should be more clearly communicated that emergency alerts can be turned off in settings. Do you know if groups are doing this by default, or is it the individual given to who sets up the phone?
Just asking as you seem clued on.
@NickLFC82@PaulAndo1987 Because it's in Cardiff, and Cardiff isn't in England.
The FAW have to approve it.
If the FAW are approving, we should get a (small) % for our domestic league.
@TheAlexio00@Reignfn_@AngelicRawrx@ballfartmonkey2 Ok, I get you.
Those who are fighting for rights must let everyone in - the more people that support, the more pressure they can apply.
Anti-rights groups are selective as they see themselves as the status quo.
Sadly, anti-rights are starting to win out again...
@TheAlexio00@AngelicRawrx@ballfartmonkey2 Hoping for everyone to have positive mental health isn't bad.
No matter if you agree or disagree with Trans issues, you should at least want the people to not be suicidal or be in a bad mental state.
@AngelicRawrx@ballfartmonkey2 I say this as someone who is a pro-trans advocate - both issues are important to address.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 40. That is unacceptable.
Trans suicide is at 50.8%. That is unacceptable.
We should address both issues. It's never one or the other.
@LauraMonTorfaen@erfylwyn There was always going to be an English-language alert sent after.
The UK Government seemed to have forgotten to put Welsh and English in the same message, as they have done in all tests and other emergency broadcasts.
Some of what your party is saying, though, is anti-Welsh
