The amount of new fires, this stupid TikTok arson trend, the spread of previous fires, bad agricultural policy that has enabled the spread of these fires, the exhaustion of our farmers, landowners and Fire Services in tackling the fires, the destruction of wildlife, vital peat land and grazing land..

Action is needed NOW Minister .. and being part of a COBRA meeting which just banned disposable BBQs is not enough!

A huge thank you to South Wales Fire and Rescue Service for all they are doing, and others across Wales, and the incredible farmers like James Bourne, who is literally working day and night to protect his family, community and livelihood.

The Clacton result is yet more proof that people are more powerful than the establishment.

The media attacked Nigel repeatedly and caused his family distress. The other major parties all refused to stand, a slap in the face of the people of Clacton, just so Westminster could try and discredit Clacton’s choice.

Still Nigel pulled through with clear and resounding endorsement of his record and his conduct from the people who matter: His constituents.

Nigel is giving a voice to the voiceless right across the UK, including Wales. That’s what we are doing in the Senedd, and that’s why we came and gave our support to Nigel, the UK’s next Prime Minister.

Andy Burnham is the political equivalent of that supply teacher who bounds into the classroom flashing a matey grin, drops a couple of half-decent gags and attempts a bit of street slang he clearly rehearsed in the car park. For the first lesson, the class is charmed; he seems human, approachable, almost one of the lads.

Then the novelty quickly evaporates. The jokes start landing like wet socks, the “down with the kids” act begins to look faintly desperate, and it becomes painfully obvious he has neither the quiet authority nor the steel to keep order. The classroom eventually descends into chaos: paper aeroplanes in flight, someone has set the register book on fire, and half of the class is climbing out the window heading for the chip shop.
