๐จ New Short Documentary ๐จ
Created by @ConorDeVries (https://t.co/EjCWvdWgDD), this film captures the voices of ByWard Market residents on the new $50M โNeighbourhood Operations Centre.โ

๐ธ How could $50M be better invested in housing, health, and social services instead of more policing? These are the voices of our community. These are the stories that matter. ๐ฅ Watch now: https://t.co/wlDfTG60yW

Five years after George Floyd and Regis Korchinski Paquet, the police have massively expanded their funding, power, and technologies of brutality. Border policing has become more fully entrenched and legitimized by all major parties. The demand was and remains: Abolition Now.
For #MothersDay2025 please donate if you can to this grassroots fundraiser for Black & Indigenous mothers who have lost loved ones to the terror of policing in Canada. Unlike in 2020, there is now little support for crucial on the ground work like so your contribution matters!
Creepy weirdos Billboard Chris and Maxime Bernier plan to gather this Friday in front of our schools to spread transphobic hatred. Again.
Let's show up and support community members who shouldn't have to deal with weird men harassing kids at school. #Ottawa

"Where's Steve?"
Incumbent MPP @SteveClarkPC has repeatedly ducked constituents opposed to the Kemptville prison plan.
With an election just days away, MPP Clark wouldnโt even face his constituents at an all candidates debate on February 18.

@TheBeaverton This would be funny except that imprisoned people do in fact die in Ontario provincial jails because of so-called health care (or lack thereof) offered in those human caging sites. Health care in provincial jails should be transferred from 'correctional' to health authorities.
