📍French Polynesia | Deployment of a french ship in the Tuamotu Archipelago as part of the PACIFIC AITO mission.

🎯 Acknowledgments of 4 isolated atolls using drones in Mototunga, South Tepotu, Tuanake, and Hiti, as well as a ground delegation reconnaissance on Taenga atoll.
Every 3 years, the French Armed Forces in French Polynesia conduct missions to maintain a presence across all 118 islands and atolls of French Polynesia.

These deployments help maintain the armed forces' ability to assist populations throughout the territory.

The presence of the French Armed Forces also aims to ensure 🇫🇷 sovereignty in its exclusive economic zones, contributing this way to safeguard maritime spaces, to fisheries policing, and to combating illicit trafficking.

📍Polynésie française | Déploiement d'un bâtiment de soutien et d’assistance outre-mer (BSAOM) dans l'archipel des Tuamotu pour la mission PACIFIC AITO.

🎯 Reconnaissance par drone de 4 atolls isolés (Mototunga, Tepotu Sud, Tuanake et Hiti) et reconnaissance de l’atoll de Taenga par une délégation à terre.
🔍Tous les 3 ans, les Forces armées en Polynésie française (FAPF) conduisent des missions de présence sur l’ensemble des 118 îles et atolls de la Polynésie française.

Ces déploiements permettent d’entretenir la capacité d’intervention des forces armées à porter assistance aux populations sur l’ensemble du territoire.

La présence des FAPF vise également à garantir la souveraineté 🇫🇷 dans ses zones économiques exclusives, contribuant à la sauvegarde des espaces maritimes, aux missions de police des pêches et de lutte contre les trafics illicites.

📦 Since the beginning of the year, these operations have led to the seizure of more than 30 tons of narcotics, depriving criminal organizations of considerable resources and helping to collective protection

On 17 June, the closing ceremony of the multinational exercise #MARARA26, hosted by the French Armed Forces, was held in Tahiti, French Polynesia.
