@isaadplayz @WinterSkiis @DayTechHistory You have to look back at this from a 2006 perspective. The PPC 970 architecture was incredibly hot and inefficient. It's the whole reason we never got G5 PowerBooks and why some G5 PowerMacs has water cooling. Intel's Core architecture at the time was a lot more efficient.

@Scan_Lines_aus Cigarette smoke + dust makes one of the worst combos ever for cleaning. Had to clean out a smokers PS4 once and the dust was super sticky and nasty. Took forever to clean out not to mention trying to clean my hands afterwards.

A non-x86 CPU? Yep! The good old Motorola 68000 (as seen in my Genesis). It's amazing how much use this chip got, released in 1979 and was still being used up into the mid 90s thanks to the aforementioned Genesis as well as budget Macs. A testament to how good this chip was.
