🗓️ On #EuropeDay, we recognise the value of cooperation in advancing public health across Europe.
@CPW_Project brings together a wide consortium that explores new approaches for preventing infection-related cancers through occupational health programmes.
The presentation was delivered to a cross-disciplinary audience of social scientists, public health researchers, and guests from the University of Genova and @UNESCO.
📍 On 25 March 2026, Anna Schneider-Kamp presented the concept of Health Capital and its operationalization within the Cancer Prevention at Work Project (@CPW_Project) at the USI Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland.
The discussion generated strong interest, particularly around how #diversity can be better understood and addressed in #prevention programmes within occupational health surveillance.
How can digital innovation change the way Europe understands and treats cancer?
Join the EU Cancer Mission Conference in Nicosia on 27 April 2026 to explore data-driven projects and strategies to reduce inequalities in cancer care.

💡 How often do we stop to consider the role of science in our everyday health decisions?
From trusting medical advice to using effective treatments, science underpins the systems we rely on—often without us even noticing.
At Cancer Prevention at Work Project, we work to strengthen cancer prevention by integrating evidence-based approaches into occupational health systems—ensuring that prevention is not only effective, but accessible and sustainable.
#Today , #11F, on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, @CPW_Project highlights the importance of moving beyond reflection to showcasing effective practices that foster a more inclusive scientific community.

A couple of weeks ago, we held our educational event at the HUCA Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias (HUCA), where we learned and shared knowledge about #HelicobacterPylori.
🎬 Here’s a video that truly captures the energy of that wonderful day!
The initiative, coordinated by the university research group led by Professors Alessandro Godono, Marco Clari, and Catalina Ciocan, all experts in workplace health promotion, sparked insightful discussions during the event’s webinar.
This week, our partners at Intesa Sanpaolo and the University of Turin Università degli Studi di Torino, together with the Local Health Authority ASL Città di Torino, came together to mark the International Day for the Elimination of #CervicalCancer.

✨ Last saturday learning, playing and creating community at HUCA in Oviedo. We explored #HelicobacterPylori through monologues, games and music and its prevention as part of our CPW pilot programme!
Thanks to everyone who made this day possible!
