Everything in the testing environment works so far, with some bugs, but it's fine. We're leveling up the map. Starting point is gonna be "the dead forest" and all the assets has been built from zero. every tree, every rock, every tile of ash is new art made by pixel art artists, then we pushed past its edges.

4 new zones are in:

THE ASHFELL. a dead city. cracked asphalt, ruined buildings, abandoned cars, neon signs that still flicker at night.
THE HOLLOW. a forest, thick with life. almost 1800 trees, ferns, berry glades and one hidden beehive. good luck.
THE SHORE. a full coastline. broken pier, beached rowboat, tide pools, nets drying in the wind.
THE MIRE. a swamp that wants you gone. still black water, glowing mushrooms, an old frog idol watching you cross.

maps jumped from tiny 20x20 test rooms to 120x120. each zone is getting its own lighting. the city will run its own sun cycle. Or, "the mire" never sees one.
