One thing GenZ gets wrong about work, imo, is thinking your job should be fully separate from your social life. You know the meme: clock in at 9, work, lunch on your own, clock out at 5. No chats at the coffee machine. No Christmas cards for your colleagues. Oh X is having a leaving-do? Don't care, I'm going home.

It's good to have boundaries, sure. But it's silly to spend 40+ hours a week in a social desert, then wonder why work feels meaningless and you dread Mondays.

@MarketDriveUK @London_W4 Interesting point. Most of the world use advanced Huawei RAN equipment. UK gov banned it 2020 due to its association with china (so we now mostly use Nokia). Huawei is far advanced so sticks out even in less developed and busy but poorer countries (Bangkok, Delhi etc).

I cant help think some of queuing is driven by woefully inept bar staff that have no background of ever visiting or going to pubs. They seem unable to manage rough priority ordering of punters standing at the bar, which then leads to disputes etc. thoughts?
