As a US citizen you should stand with your country and its athletes when they give you an opportunity to cheer them on against any other country, not find a way to root against them because you hate who the President is.

The World Cup and the Olympics are the biggest country vs country competitions on the planet.

It’s not about what team your favorite player plays for or who you have historically rooted for.

It is a time when you decide if you are going to root for your country or against it.

I’m a military kid, who loves God and watched as my friends’ Moms, Dads, Brothers, Sisters and Aunts, Uncles die in service of the freedoms we enjoy today.

So supporting your country and rooting for your country does mean a lot to me.

Some people think loving America means supporting Donald Trump or historical atrocities committed by your country, but it doesn’t.

It simply means standing with your country in a competition when the rest of the world is standing with theirs.

US VERSUS THEM.

If you have dual citizenship or your family is from another country and the USA is playing them, then I’m not talking about you.

But if you are looking for a “yea but what about this that happened or what about that thing that happened” which has nothing to do with rooting for your country in a dang World Cup match and chanting USA, then I got 4 words for you. Bless your heart traitor.

13-year-old goes behind her mom’s back and gets a nose ring. Mom disciplines her and gets called out because “it’s just a nose ring.”

Mom’s response:

“She knew I was gonna say no. She chose to beg for forgiveness instead of asking for permission. I’m not the parent here to be friends with my daughter — especially one who doesn’t follow rules.

While she’s living under my roof, she follows my rules. Point blank period.”

Then she said what a lot of parents are thinking but scared to say out loud:
“It’s starting with just a nose ring.

Next time it’s gonna be a tattoo. Next time it’s gonna be a pregnancy. I am not here for none of that.”

This is what actual parenting looks like. Not “gentle parenting.” Not “my kid is my best friend.” Boundaries. Consequences. Authority.

The internet is losing its mind calling her strict. I call it raising a child who understands respect and accountability.

At what age should kids be allowed to permanently alter their bodies without parental permission?

And if your kid deliberately went behind your back… what would YOU do?

On behalf of the largest police news outlet in the world, we're officially calling for the resignation or termination of this officer IMMEDIATELY.

A female Fort Worth police officer was caught on camera threatening to ticket a retired federal law enforcement officer and Christian street preacher for “offensive speech.”

The officer told the man that if someone is offended by his preaching, then “we have a problem” and said she would issue him a ticket. When he asked if she was really going to ticket him for offensive speech, she replied, “Yes, I am.”

This is a blatant violation of the First Amendment. Police officers do not have the authority to ticket people for speech that offends others. That is the exact opposite of how freedom of speech works in America.

The fact that this officer targeted a retired federal law enforcement officer who was simply preaching makes this even more unacceptable.

Departments that employ officers who openly disregard the Constitution need to clean house. This kind of behavior erodes public trust and makes every good officer’s job harder.

Pass this along so more people see what is happening on our streets.
