How can we make Earth observation data more transparent, trustworthy and reusable, without making it harder to use?
That’s the goal of #Trace4EO, an @esa Φ-lab funded, open-source project developed by @Guardtime, @CloudFerro and #Alt239, focused on EO data provenance.
Some landscapes don’t need movement or sound to reveal a catastrophe. The latest image of the #SeizeTheBeautyOfOurPlanet calendar is titled “The Lake that Became a Desert – The Silence of Poopó”, by Maria Valsoni de Faria from Brazil. Image source: Modified Copernicus Sentinel-2.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the entire @creodias Team!
Thank you for your continued trust and for choosing our platform to power your #EO work. It is a privilege to support your projects, and we remain committed to help you achieve even more in 2026.

What happens on the ground echoes into orbit, leaving traces visible in satellite imagery – as shown on the September page of the #SeizeTheBeautyOfOurPlanet calendar, which features a powerful image captured by Copernicus Sentinel-2 and prepared by Chinmai G Megalamane from India
A new use case on @creodias demonstrates how AI embeddings and foundation models can be applied to satellite imagery to identify changes in land and water surfaces — from declining water levels in Spanish reservoirs to floods in southern Poland. https://t.co/JaEo49Oti4
Wildfires continue to affect Southern Europe – from Greece and Cyprus to Portugal and Spain – damaging landscapes and impacting communities. Satellite monitoring provides a broader perspective needed to track their extent and support recovery efforts 👉 https://t.co/mKKHmV9YWr
With our new Shared File System (SFS), @CloudFerro customers can eliminate time-consuming data transfers and give teams instant, secure access to the files they need — all in the cloud.

🛰️The Sentinel-2C satellite plays a crucial role in the Copernicus Earth Observation programme. It captures high-resolution images of Earth’s land, islands, and inland and coastal waters.🔎Discover all the Sentinel products on the CREODIAS platform 👉https://t.co/WuQUAsx3bt #EO
🛰️Raw satellite data can be challenging to work with. Cloud cover, varying observation times, and sensor noise can complicate analysis. That’s why Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 mosaics are game changers for Earth Observation (EO). Learn more here: https://t.co/sV83zRFWPI
