Some of our Atlanta-based team volunteered with @crkeeper for our annual Share the Care day. The team successfully filled a 20-yard dumpster with trash and debris from Hurricane Helene along the Chattahoochee River.
Just another shining example of how our teams give back to their communities during Share the Care!

🚨BREAKING: Our new report, released today with @HispanicAccess and U.S. Waterkeepers in 19 states, reveals a staggering reality: 98% of U.S. surface waters tested were contaminated with #PFAS. Yet no federal standards exist to limit public exposure.
Instead of delaying and weakening the few protections we have, the @EPA and lawmakers must act now to protect communities.
It’s time to stop toxic #ForeverChemicals at the source.
Read the full report and learn more about PFAS here: https://t.co/tjZoKDabDW

ACT NOW on behalf of our waters! Proposed cuts to the National Park Service threaten more than recreation and wildlife; they also endanger our source of drinking water. Send a message to your lawmakers urging them to vote against cuts to NPS: https://t.co/QEy4Vofghi
Folks in Gainesville may have noticed a new arrival in Kenwood Park! Hear from CRK’s Jordan Yu and Becca Risser about our newest trash trap on a tributary to Flat Creek and Lake Lanier. Learn more about our in-stream trash removal efforts: https://t.co/Zcn3946Xgh
Cuts to NPS will threaten the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and endanger drinking water quality in our river basin. 🗣️ Go to https://t.co/QEy4Vofghi and tell your legislators to Protect our Parks!
Utoy Creek is a lot cleaner thanks to these Colonial Pipeline volunteers! They hauled a LOT of trash out of the water, including 21 tires. Thanks to @Colpipe for helping clean the creek and for generously sponsoring CRK’s Floating Classroom program on Lanier and West Point Lake!

“The concern I have is that the policy environment is not really designed to kind of respond to this new, unprecedented demand,” Chris Manganiello, CRK’s water policy director, tells @wabenews for special series “Server South." https://t.co/7OK8YYW0TH
