Lebanon. Gaza. The West Bank.
We cannot allow American taxpayer dollars to continue to fund the killing of children and civilians abroad. The violence must stop.
🚨 NEW: Iran has formally demanded a cut of the billions it says people close to President Trump made by manipulating financial markets tied to the Iran war, a senior Iranian official tells Drop Site.
Tehran calculated the profits from that alleged manipulation, across oil futures, energy stocks, and prediction markets, had reached $9 billion, and put its demand in writing to mediators.
“We have conveyed through intermediaries that $4.5 billion of this sum should also be allocated to the Iranian side,” the official told Drop Site.
“The exchanged texts will ultimately become part of the historical record,” the official added.
🔗 The claim is part of a broader Iranian warning, reported by Drop Site, that Trump envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner were “abusing” their inside access to U.S.-Iran talks to profit rather than reach a deal. Read the report from Jeremy Scahill and Ryan Grim linked below👇
@JoeRoganRecaps Technically the California Democratatic party bosses would rather run against a Republican just wanting to make a name for themselves with no plan expecting to go on to the next thing than oust a Democrat for a newer one
basically fenced into supporting exactly the same things
The entrepreneur pump and dump (@ryangrim the democrat he's running against is cruel that matters more to some people) with a friendly twist, they make ideas reality and take their piece leaving the workers a profitable business for them the workers
🎥 “For me, this is deeper than politics.”
Michigan state Rep. Donovan McKinney told Ryan Grim that his family moved more than 13 times while he was growing up in Detroit, at times living in cars, shelters, and on the street.
McKinney said those experiences and his grandmother’s insistence that he “never fight the urge to give” led him into public service.
Now challenging Rep. Shri Thanedar in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, McKinney said residents are being forced to choose between rent, food, and medicine while Washington funds “bombs and weapons to kill families and children overseas.”
His campaign rejects corporate PAC and AIPAC money and has raised more than $1 million, with an average donation of $30. Here’s part of his conversation with Ryan Grim on Breaking Points.
