I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.

I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

I had the realization last night that Punks green and yellow gear was a throwback to when Cody first debuted in the wrestling scene with green gear with his initials CR in yellow.
This was also the same year they first met in 2007. Punk brought back memories.

I am SO glad that Cody Rhodes didn’t turn heel tonight!

I understand that we might reach a point where a heel turn is an absolute necessity & I’m open to exploring other sides of his character but I truly believe it’s the wrong time for a Cody heel turn.

I think a proper feud between Cody & Randy where neither one of them are straight up heels is far more compelling than forcing either one of them into a villain role.

I think where I butt heads with most people here - and I certainly don’t mean to - is that I *EYE* personally believe, Cody has the ball when it comes to whether or not he will turn heel.

Which means if he has the ball, then he’s calling the play. And if he’s calling the play, this is what he’s called. Which is why I have to keep having to make these posts to defend my position on the whole stay babyface vs turn heel debate…

Which is that I can’t wait to find out 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s really simple to not torture yourselves over this discourse. Everyone is valid and has the right to be a fan in whichever way they please. No one is better than anyone else, no matter how hard they try to convince you they know better and have been here longer so they’re more connected to him than you, it’s such pick me bs. Whether you’re all for it a turn, against it, or just happy to see it play out. EVERYONE is valid for their opinion. ♥️
