@NSTeachersUnion members are thinking of the family, friends, students and colleagues of M. Stéphane and the community of @carrefourcsap and @CSANENSTU.
The loss of a teacher, administrator and school leader is unimaginable.
My heart goes out to all affected by this loss.

This is a disgusting perspective by a Minister who’s clearly out of touch with reality.
People aren’t living in tents in parks because of the beautiful view and serenity. They’re living in tents because of the policy failures of successive governments.
Do better @karla_macf_pc!

Les auteurs de « Valley of the Birdtail », @StoboSniderman et Douglas Sanderson (Amo Binashii), discutent du chemin vers la réconciliation qui passe par la salle de classe.
The @NSTeachersUnion fundamentally believes that governments, including @nsgov, should invest in our kids by providing fully funded breakfast and lunch programs for our kids.
We cannot expect kids to come to schools ready to learn when they are hungry.
#FeedKidsNow
We need the provincial government to make school better for our kids – with more teachers, more specialists, and more resources in every classroom.
It's time to fix our schools. Our kids can't wait.

The @NLTeachersAssoc will not stand silently by while our members are attacked for being who they are and for creating safe learning spaces for their students. 2SLGBTQ+ rights are human rights. The mis- and dis-information circulating is grounded in hate. 1/3 @GSDSIC

This is reprehensible behaviour by the @HRCE_NS and @nsgov.
Instead of putting time and effort into securing low wage, untrained replacement workers, you should be negotiating a fair deal with @CUPE5047.
Our kids and schools deserve to have their education support workers BACK!
The teacher shortage is certainly affecting our @NSTeachersUnion members, schools and kids.
Our schools are in turmoil because @nsgov continues to do nothing to improve working conditions in our schools.
Teacher shortages will continue until gov’ts fund education appropriately.
Nearly one-third, or 31.4 per cent of children in Nova Scotia are living in food-insecure households, according to the numbers. The data also shows the highest percentage of people living in food-insecure households are Black and Indigenous.
