Notre équipe de patrouilleurs portuaires a rencontré des centaines de plaisanciers et de pagayeurs pour promouvoir les meilleures pratiques de sécurité nautique, effectuer des vérifications de sécurité et fournir des directives ou des instructions de sécurité. 2024 was another busy year for recreational marine activities and boating safety awareness efforts within the waters that make up the Port of Vancouver.
Our harbour patrol team engaged with hundreds of boaters and paddlers to promote safe boating best practices, conduct safety checks, and provide safety directions or instructions. Thank you to partner agencies, including Canadian Lifeboat Institute, @CSBCCANADA, @RCM_SAR, @VPDMarineUnit, @BoatingBC and @icbc for assisting with—and supporting—our boating safety initiatives, and to boaters for their adherence to safety rules throughout the season.
