The Facilities Management Department supports the campus by working to provide a safe and comfortable environment.  We not only focus on appearance but also work to increase the reliability of our electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems.

ENERGY EFFICIENT: The @CSCC_Facilities team contracted to have a "highly efficient" boiler installed in TL, which saves electricity, water and gas. The goal is to replace all of our older boilers and chillers throughout the rest of campus. #uselesssharemore #CSCCFacilities

Our @cscc_facilities teams are working hard to ensure @cscc_edu campus environments remain safe for students, faculty & guests. Our warehouse & dist teams are delivering #careandwear boxes across campus with sanitizer, towels, face coverings & informational signage. #CStateProud

We currently are using MERV 13 and 14 filters; these are similar filters that healthcare facilities use.

If facemasks protect the air we breathe,then air filters are certainly extremely important to the HVAC system.Over the past several weeks our @CSCC_Facilities maintenance crew has replaced filters and increased the amount of makeup air to help cycle outside air into our buildings
