Last week CSD staff assisted Prof Kate Flick from College of Menominee Nation and Menominee Tribal Forestry Department researchers in collecting 14 m of core at 2 sites in Berry Lake, WI which they will analyze for pollen and charcoal to study vegetation, land use & fire history
