Mohsenipour was convicted of membership in a group seeking to undermine national security, anti-establishment propaganda and insulting the leadership. Karami was convicted on the membership charge.
Amirhossein Mohsenipour and Mehdi Karami, two residents of Dehdasht, have begun serving three-year prison sentences, according to HRANA.
Karami reported to Dehdasht prison 10 days ago, while Mohsenipour began his sentence five days ago.
