Late evening, at #BharatMandapam, New Delhi, went around to assess the progress and completion of preparations for the “Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave #ESTIC2026, ahead of its inauguration by PM Shri @narendramodi ji tomorrow.

The 3-day conclave, scheduled from Oct 27 to Oct 29 2026, will bring together experts from home and abroad to enrich India’s innovation ecosystem, in keeping with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

A walk around the world’s first of its kind, Air Pollution Analysis facility for Delhi NCR, “Integrated Advanced Atmospheric Chemistry And Aerosol Toxicity Analysis Laboratory (AATAL)", installed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, #IITM, New Delhi, was not only self-explanatory but also highly educative.

IITM’s New System to Enable Real-Time Pollution Monitoring

Dr. A. Suryachandra Rao, Director of IITM, Pune, highlighted the importance of the institute’s new Air Quality Early Warning System at an event in Delhi. The system will help identify pollution sources, monitor AQI and detect metals and microplastics in the air.
The initiative aims to strengthen pollution control and support better public health decisions, with IMD, MoEFCC and pollution control boards also involved.
