At age 14, I visualized three things for my future:

1. Investor/trader
2. Broadcaster
3. Forecaster

This was in 2011. Peak post-2008 fear. Everyone laughed at the investing vision. However, they were slightly less dismissive about broadcasting, so I leaned that way in college.
I wish I'd had more confidence in myself when I was buying Bitcoin at $200 in early 2015. I sold most of it early because "statistically you lose money on anything other than SPY held for 20 years."
I went the broadcast journalism route. Graduated. Quickly realized it was an outdated propaganda funnel built for a 60+ year old audience.
So I moved to LA at age 23 for a paralegal job. I also had aspirations to start a YouTube channel and become an actor - some mildly delusional thoughts every 23-year-old probably has.
I landed right when COVID hit. Stuck in a 675 sq ft apartment on a $6K per month income, I spent every free hour learning crypto, trading and investing.
The bull run of 2020–2021 happened. People became millionaires from their parents' basements in under a year.
When ETH broke $4K in May 2021 (I'd bought in the 300s), I had enough to retire in most countries. I was also deep in Cardano and Polygon.
I quit my job. Moved to South Florida. The exact place I'd always pictured myself living as a kid.
The market corrected and hit me hard. But I felt more alive than I ever had.
My YouTube channel went 0 → 5K subscribers in weeks. I became friends with people I used to watch for guidance. I accomplished everything I'd dreamed of in under two years, and there were more opportunities than I had time for.
How?
Visualization. And actually taking action.
I didn't know what I was doing. I just kept moving and trying new things when something didn't work. I was retardmaxxing before the term existed.
Most people doubted every step of the way. I decided I didn't want to be like them.
Here's what I know now:
It doesn't matter what anyone says. Even the smartest, richest people are constantly wrong. You're the only one with the creativity and ability to build your own path.
Do what interests you. Do it as well as you can. Visualize the life you want. Take action.
Good things will happen.
