📣#UNDP’s #ReadySetGreat youth partners are doing great things on the global stage. At the @ConcordiaSummit, @CSW_JA called on leaders to stop the lip service & actively support youth ideas for change. She is scheduled to speak on Advocacy for social change at Ready Set Great.
So grateful to speak at @ConcordiaSummit about those affected by the 110 ongoing conflicts and environmental degradation/climate change. I challenged the leaders to stop the lip service that they believe in youth but to put their money where their belief is.
“The younger generation gives me hope. Every single one of us need courage to move the dial and create positive change…Now we need to listen and act on the advice and vision that young people have.” - Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex at #Concordia24

I was just on @TvjNewscentre 7pm news discussing this and I argued that violence/abuse is not discipline and I endorse the Gov's efforts to protect our children. However we also need meaningful psychosocial support for our parents AND children from multiple sources.
