If the message from your son’s 15-18U summer coach is concentrated on wins, how “loaded” the lineup is, and losses seem like the end of world…you’re not playing for a coach that cares about getting your kid to the next level. You’re playing for someone that cares only about “I”.
Sports are so parallel to life…experiencing difficult times that need to be pressed through…watching others experience success that simply don’t have the character to even put them in the same room as others…it’s hard - but necessary.
I find it amazing that velo and spin rates have become the stat shared on this platform to get attention from the next level. I don’t think I have seen 5% of posts include S% or WHIP…I’m nobody so someone feel free to explain this to me….#justthrowstrikes
@megbasham It must be exhausting waking up everyday trying to be right about everything and feeling like it’s your job to police the faith. I’ve said this 100 times on this platform-how do you forsake scripture in your twitter attacks and not go to your brother or sister with a grievance.?
Great team win for us last night against Hunter. Starting to roll! Felt like I had another solid outing. 4IP; 5H; 1ER; 4K and was 2-2 at the plate with 2BB and 2 Singles @holdentucker24
A coach once told me that the first place kid might be the most talented kid in the bracket but the 3rd place kid is toughest...we agree...He's just getting started!
