At the most recent @DragonsBaseball Veteran Salute game, we had the honor of celebrating Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Nikki Gordon alongside veterans, military families and community members from across the Dayton region. From the first pitch to the final inning, the evening was a powerful reminder of the pride and connection within our military community.

This week, members of our Military & Veteran Support Unit (MVSU) Employee Resource Group created a Fallen Comrade Table—an enduring symbol of honor, sacrifice, and the lives that will never be forgotten. It’s a simple but powerful reminder of why this day matters.

We encourage our community to take a moment this weekend to pause, reflect, and remember those who gave everything—and the families who continue to serve in their honor.

If you are in Atlanta or Tampa, the TRICARE Prime® Demo by CareSource Military & Veterans™ is an option with local teams who understand what these transitions actually look like day-to-day.

If you are growing your family in Atlanta or Tampa, CareSource Military & Veterans™ provides access to in-network pediatric specialists without a referral. Out-of-network specialty care is also within reach when you coordinate a referral through an in-network provider.

Understanding a nutrition label helps you make better food choices. Here’s what the different sections mean.

💜 Serving size: This tells you the amount of food in on serving. If you eat more than one serving, you need to multiply the numbers on the label.

💜 Calories: This show how much energy you get from one serving. Talk to a doctor learn how many calories you should eat per day.

💜 Nutrients: This shows you the key nutrients that can impact your health. Too much sodium (salt), added sugars or saturated fats can be harmful to your health. Instead, choose foods with more fiber and protein.

💜 % Daily Value: This tells you how much of each nutrient is in one serving, based on a whole day’s needs. Five percent or less is low while 20% or more is high.
