Thinking of all my friends from all around The Bay. I can’t wait to be back at Kezar with you all celebrating this moment. LIVERPOOL HAVE WON THE LEAGUE
Why do we have such a problem with just staying with the game to see the emotions after a win or loss?
Do we really need to immediately go back to the studio? Especially when they’re remote?
NEW/BREAKING: MLB investigators plan to question Dodgers head doc Neal ElAttrache in wake of disclosure he supported Conor McGregor's use of performance-enhancing drugs as he recovered from injury. ElAttrache is LA Rams team doc. NFL didn't return message seeking comment on what NFL plans to do.

FIFA (supposedly) has rules for broadcasters during World Cup hydration breaks.
Fox broke them during the very first game, and even missed match action showing commercials...

It feels increasingly obvious that FIFA will keep hydration breaks for future World Cups regardless of the weather.
FIFA loves money and adding in commercial breaks is the easiest way to guarantee higher media rights fees.
It's that simple.
One of my favorite anecdotes from the build-up to this World Cup, which reveals so much about the collision between FIFA and U.S. cities.
The day a FIFA exec told Los Angeles that LA needed to be “put on the map.”

The Somali referee who was denied entry to the United States ahead of the World Cup has been selected to officiate the UEFA Super Cup, the European governing body announced on Thursday.
Omar Artan, 34, was due to referee at this summer’s tournament in North America but was barred from entering the U.S. at Miami International Airport on Saturday.
The Trump administration claimed he had “association with suspected members of terror organizations”.
Artan had been one of 52 match officials chosen by FIFA, world football’s governing body, for the tournament but was returned to Istanbul by U.S. border officials before travelling back to Somalia — where he has received a hero’s welcome.
UEFA, however, has now picked Artan to referee the Super Cup between Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and Europa League champions Aston Villa in August. The game, which effectively kicks off the European football season, takes place on August 12 in Salzburg, Austria.
UEFA’s release announcing the news described Artan as “one of the world’s top referees” and acknowledged that he “could not participate as he was not allowed to enter the United States”.
