The place to raise comments & questions about my book of that name...
@REGENETARIANISM@JayneReesBuxton Well I must admit to feeling hoodwinked by him in the past, mistaking his '3 cheers for the underdog & yah-boo to the powerful' rhetoric for something real. Perhaps I was late to see his true colours, now evident in his Bezos-funded shenanigans etc. But not as late as some, alas!
@REGENETARIANISM@JayneReesBuxton Yes, that's the one. Agreed about the problem of getting heard. IMO Monbiot used to hold a bit more nuance & direct his polemics more appropriately at state-corporate malefactors. Alas he's become a corporate enabler whose residual radicalism only obfuscates the role he's playing
@weplanetint@mark_lynas@GeorgeMonbiot I've published a response to George's frankly defamatory comments about me in the pod & to the wider failures of bacterial food here: https://t.co/Fh2Uhi6CK5
It's 3 years since I published 'Saying NO to a Farm-Free Future' & 6 days since @GeorgeMonbiot 'paraphrased' its argument as "to hell with the rest of the world & let them starve". Anniversary thoughts on why George & farm-free are so dangerous: https://t.co/hAjdB3osq3...
@agronomistag Hi Andy, good to hear from you. Well, oil demand hasn't peaked yet! Yes it wasn't limited at the source as some thought, so it might be limited at the sink. Add in -ve growth as in your interesting article, nature loss etc & your punt that collapse isn't coming looks bold to me!
My Crazy Town podcast with with Jason Bradford is now out - I really enjoyed the wide-ranging conversation with a kindred spirit!
