CW with Bluetooth iambic paddle remote from mobile with near-zero delay? Yes, it is possible! New Ham Mixer Mobile feature. https://t.co/9gUJrkDNfA 73 DE CT7BAC #CW#HamRadio#HamMixer
ARRL contest update: while waiting for my daughter at padel, worked WS7X remotely using HamMixer Mobile. In this clip I overlay the screen recording audio so the QSO stays readable in that heavy noise. Check it out! https://t.co/9gUJrkDNfA 73 DE CT7BAC #ARRLDX#HamRadio#HamMixer

Thatβs the flexibility I wanted when I designed HamMixer Mobile!

Coupe du REF is on fire today π₯π«π·
Even away from the shack Iβm still active from my phone and logging QSOs.
This clip is how Iβm operating right now.

Quick real-world demo: me working W1AW from mobile using HamMixer remote operation.
Raw screen recording, no edits β just practical ham radio workflow in the field.
More real clips coming (CW, DX, logging workflow).

Back on X after a long break.
Iβm a ham operator in Braga (CT7BAC) and Iβve been building HamMixer from real station needs: better RX in urban QRM and practical remote operation.
Iβll share real-world clips, QSOs, CW workflow and technical notes.

The research is ongoing... Just some setbacks with the hardware, but we are back in the game. Some data from different take-off angles. Still a lot to work on, but we are in the right path. The final result may bring a fresh panorama for antenna owners (not only hams).
@rpilocator The problem @Raspberry_Pi is that the amount of people loosing patience and running to alternatives (plenty of'em) is growing bigger daily. Not everybody has stomach to buy in this "black friday" fashion. I am almost there...
@rpilocator This batch lasted for a longer time... 90 seconds! Thanks @Raspberry_Pi for making us feel so good trying to buy your lovely, yet rare, products...
@rpilocator 100pcs... Not even a tickle on the demand. All stocks replanished all over the world don't last for 30 seconds. So far, the problem (to me) remains the same. Sad, but true.
Next flight: measure takeoff angles of 15Β°, 45Β° and 75Β°. How the radiation patterns will look like? Will i have drone batteries enough($$) some day in future to make measurements in many takeoff angles, say every 5Β°, and generate a 3D plot? Will see...
@rfsparkling@F5OEOEvariste First trial. Not bad. Drone struggling, one part of the graphic should be "ignored", for now. Looks promising. Next step: more trials and different heights, to form the 3D plot. Will it work? Will see...π #drone#SDR#radiationPattern
@Raspberry_Pi@EbenUpton I think you guys should focus urgently on having available stocks before anything... A LOT of people giving up on RPi due to neverending shortage. The option to buy an used RPi4 from scalpers at gold's price is not joyful. Q2 2023 is upon us. Where are the RPi 4?
