You probably know I'm doing volunteer Starlink repairs, which might look great. But I can't do many repairs; I still have my daytime job, other projects, and research activity. I decided it was much more important to share knowledge.
We currently have dozens of service centers and rework labs here in Ukraine.
Today, I would like to tell you more about this.
My friend runs the first in Ukraine (most likely in the world) and the biggest service center specializing in Starlink.
He said this wouldn't have been possible without my research, articles, and support.
I would say that all of this is impossible without the people doing all these repairs and working around the clock. Deepest respect to them all.
Currently, they are doing almost 100 Starlink repairs per week!

as some of you have seen, the SEC has decided to sue us and @helium literally as they are walking out of the door. the last gasp of a failed crusade against crypto companies in the US
naturally, none of the claims hold any water at all. the SEC has wasted two years of our time and millions of our dollars pursuing any claim they could think of. first it was that the coverage map was fake, then that the cellular radios weren't really cellular, then that the IOT hotspots didn't really work, literally chasing anything that might stick
eventually they decided that wireless access points must be securities (lol), and that if you share your location data using @helium_mobile and get paid for it that is somehow bad. apparently they would rather let the big telco guys steal your data for free and fine them for it later
the icing on the cake is that we somehow defrauded our Series D investors, despite literally all of them telling the SEC that none of that happened. we've addressed this in the past, and have worked with every company on Helium mentioned in the complaint. apparently written testimonials from the companies themselves are insufficient for Gensler and his goons
I don't get angry very often, but this is a blood boiling sequence of events. there's so much more I could say, but it's probably better if I don't
we'll defend ourselves vigorously and continue the Gensler SEC's track record of miserable losses and outright lies. not just for us, but for all DePIN projects. if Helium hotspots are securities, it puts all DePINs in danger. we won't allow that to happen
I'm not remotely concerned. just pissed off

In addition to the thousands (>10k) of Starlink kits we are delivering in response to Hurricane Helene, the @Starlink team and @TMobile activated our Direct to Cell satellites to provide emergency alerts for all phones and carriers of those in affected areas.
The @FCC has also rapidly approved emergency special temporary authority for coverage in Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton.
We have now enabled basic texting (SMS) for those on T-Mobile phones in hurricane affected areas. Text messages have already been sent and received. You can text loved ones, text 911 and continue to receive emergency alerts.
If a phone connects to a Starlink satellite, it will have 1 to 2 bars of signal and show "T-Mobile SpaceX" in the network name. Users may have to manually retry text messages if they don't go through at first, as this is being delivered on a best-effort basis. The service works best outdoors, and occasionally works indoors near a window.

New LBE-1420 GPSDO firmware v1.05 update adds infinite resolution of output frequency.
You can set any frequency from 1 Hz to 1.1 GHz with resolution better than of 0.000001 ppm.
This is millihertz resolution even at 1 GHz and microhertz at 10 MHz.
