Powering Pakistan at 75!
Today, we turn to the third cardโa story of ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. In Pakistan, CTGIโs impact goes far beyond clean energyโit is also a story of investing in people, supporting communities, and creating lasting opportunities.
Since 2016, the Three Gorges Wind Power Projects in Pakistan have supplied desks, stationery, fans, lighting, and water facilities to 10 local primary and secondary schools, enhancing learning environments for thousands of students.
During the construction of the Karot Hydropower Project, more than 20 community initiativesโincluding schools, healthcare facilities, and roadsโwere delivered. The project also generates over 4,500 direct and indirect jobs annually, boosting the local economy. A resident of Kanand Village reflected: "Our Chinese friends have brought not only clean energy, but also new schools, hospitals, and roads."
Over the years, the Three Gorges Wind TGW Project has been recognized in a global solicitation for Best Poverty Reduction Practices. Together, these initiatives have benefited nearly 800,000 residents, fostering a more inclusive and sustainable future. @CTGI_2011@CTG_1993

CSAIL celebrates 75 years of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations.
To the next 75 Years of developing safe, reliable and sustainable energy projects in Pakistan.
https://t.co/cJjptPuacj
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Through changing times, China-Pakistan friendship has remained as strong as iron, with the two countries often termed as "Iron Brothers", while green cooperation is becoming a new highlight of bilateral ties.
Located on the Jhelum River in Pakistan, the 720 MW Karot Hydropower Project, developed by CTG and operated by CSAIL, is known as Pakistan's version of "Three Gorges Project". It is the first major CPEC hydropower project in commercial operation and the first large-scale hydropower investment project under the Belt and Road Initiative. With an average annual output of about 3.206 billion kWh, it can meet the electricity demand of more than five million local people.
CSAIL also operates three wind farms in Jhimpir, Sindh, with a combined installed capacity of 148.5 MW. Together, they deliver about 443 GWh of clean electricity every year, enough to meet the power needs of more than 600,000 people.
But this partnership is not only about electricity.
Beyond power generation, CSAIL has supported biodiversity protection along the Jhelum River, community infrastructure, roads, bridges, water systems, hospitals, schools, scholarships and flood relief.
From hydropower to wind power, from energy supply to community support, these projects show how clean energy cooperation can bring long-term value to people, nature and development.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between #China and #Pakistan.
Over the years of deep engagement in Pakistan, @CTGAAL has woven its journey into six posters, each capturing a genuine and meaningful story of connection, energy, and shared growth.
Clean Energy | Karot Hydropower Station
-A flagship clean energy project is located along the Jhelum River
-Total installed capacity of 720 MW, generating an average of 3.436 billion kWh annually
-Bringing reliable electricity to around 5 million residents
-Reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 3.5 million tonnes each year, injecting lasting green momentum into Pakistanโs energy transition.
What will the next poster reveal? Stay tuned. @CTGI_2011
