เถบเทเถป เถญเท - Yaara Thรฉ ๐ฅ or also known as Yard Tea / Pulled Tea in common terms. This is a local traditional tea served in many places of Sri Lanka, quite often by the roadside shops at a reasonable rate of around Rs.50/-.
It is now becoming a trend among many locals and foreigners, thus also being marketed and served in high end hotels and restaurants at higher prices. The trend has been so popular that it is even being served in tea lounges as a speciality around the globe!

Unlike most teas, Yaara tea is made of sweetened condensed milk sometimes with added spices according to preference and is being poured from a height of a yard (almost 1m, hence the name)
