Thank you @hydrodig for helping us at our test dig this past weekend! We are very grateful for your support and willingness to dive into this engineering challenge with us. We look forward to continuing to work together at more tests in the future!
Thank you Elektro Automatik and @tektronixofficial for all of your support this year! We have been able to use their bench power supply to significantly push our testing efforts. This equipment has been crucial in allowing us to fail-check our systems before competition!
Thank you to Milwaukee Tools for all of their support this year! We've been able to use their high quality drills, packout boxes, angle grinders, glasses and more. These tools have been extremely helpful during our manufacturing stages and as we ramp up for our next test dig!
Meet the 2025-26 Executive Team at CU Hyperloop! Ben, Matis, and Christian work to drive our mission of collaboration, creativity, and excellent engineering everyday as we strive to redefine what's possible in tunneling.
A huge thank you to our sponsor of two years, Mach Industries! Your support has been fundamental to our success, providing our student engineers with critical expertise and opportunities. We're proud that 3 of our members interned at Mach this summer, joining CU Hyperloop alums!
Last weekend, we hosted an open house to showcase our TBM. We are thrilled with the support we received from our community! It's been a challenging journey, seeing so much enthusiasm for our work gives us the momentum we need. We appreciate all your support!
A huge thank you to XP Power for providing our team with two crucial power supplies that are integral to our machine’s operation. These power supplies ensure reliable and efficient energy distribution across our entire system, excluding the excavation system. We are so grateful!
Huge thank you to Bromic Heating for their incredible support during our test dig! ❄️ With sub-zero temperatures, relentless winds, and our team working grueling 15+ hour days, their high-quality heaters were essential in keeping us warm and comfortable. Thanks to their support!
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Excavation Lead. Henry’s expertise spans structural analysis, fabrication, and CAD design—key elements that drive the success of our excavation efforts. His dedication and skills are invaluable as we continue refining and improving our systems.
A huge thank you to Marv’s Quality Towing for their invaluable support in helping our team transport equipment with care and efficiency! 🚛 Their dedication ensured that our equipment is always in good hands, giving us the confidence to focus on our work without worry.
Christian Green is a key part of our electrical team. Designing PCBs enables our software to control over 60 sensors and other components. ⚙️ He works extensively on our tunnel support system and our hexapod, driving digging and maneuverability. 🚀
Huge thanks to Sunbelt Rentals for supporting the CU Hyperloop team! 🙌 Their generosity provided essential equipment for our test dig, including a telehandler for easy transport, a generator for reliable power, and a Trash Pump for soil removal. We’re incredibly grateful!
📢 Meet Vishnu!
Our GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) expert, Vishnu, developed a way to navigate without GPS using an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). His work helps us track movement underground—where GPS can’t go. 🚀Way to go Vishnu!
Our 2025 test dig wrapped up, transforming our machine into a nearly fully functional system. We've tackled key challenges, gained valuable insights, and are more determined than ever for March’s competition. Exciting times ahead!
As we approach the manufacturing stage of our new machine, we wanted to take a moment to look back at last year’s machine that won us the 2024 Innovation Award! Stay tuned for what’s next! 🚀 #TBM#CU
We’re continuing to work hard and currently have passed the majority of our safety checks! As we get closer to Sunday we are closing and finishing up many parts of our machine.
Huge thanks to Aldea for their support of the team.
