On March 5, 2020... during a home Heart Tourney game against MNU, Makenna pulled down a game high 12-rebounds to move into the top spot in school history. All four seasons she played, she ranked in the top-20 in NAIA in total rebounds finishing as high as 3rd her sophomore year.

The Clarke women qualified for the NAIA District playoffs three times prior to switching to conference tournaments being held. The District XV bracket was split into an East and West side to help with travel on short notice, but leaving the East side top-heavy with talented teams

The dime to take the top spot happened during the 2023 NAIA National Tournament Round of 16 game that saw her dish out a game high 9-assists. 

Sky also led the NAIA Final Site in total assists over the 4-game span in Sioux City, IA.

Today's the day.. 2/2 is National Skylar Culbertson Appreciation Day!!

The true definition of a leader and competitor, Sky handed out a school record 492 assists over her 5-year career for the Pride.

First up in our Hall of Fame/All-American spotlights is @kelseyernst. As a 4-year member of the CU women's basketball team, she landed on three different conferences all-conference team during a time of transiton for the athletic programs. Kelsey also shared some comments!

There have been a total of 18 players surpass the 1,000 point mark wearing a Clarke uniform.

During the NAIA National Semi-Final game in 2023 vs. Dakota State, Tina Ubl surpassed former teammate Makenna Haase to take the top spot on the All-Time Career Scoring list. Ubl accumulated points over a 5-year career helping the Pride to Five National Tournament appearances.

Clarke participated in the National Catholic Basketball Tournament five times over a six-year span in the 1990's. Clarke's overall record in the NCBT was 5-10, making one Semi-Finals appearance in 1994.

The game that didn't happen... then did... 5 years ago today the #13 Pride defeated (RV) Our Lady of the Lake 74-65 in Springfield, Missouri. This was set up due to a nixed NAIA National Tournament game from the previous season. Makenna Haase scored 27 pts and added 12 rbs

Clarke WBB got neutral site wins against Loras and UD in different seasons during the Mississippi River Challenge. Clarke had an overall 2-6 record in the event held over a 4-year span, those wins are the most recent over the cross-town rivals.

The A.I.I. held a 3rd place consolation game with thr winner taking earning the final auto bid to the national tournament. In this game, maybe Clarkes best all season, the team blew out IU-NW in the 3rd quarter (33-13) to win and advance to nationals, 95-73.

During the 2015-16, CU was a member of the NAIA Association of Independent Institutions between MCC dissolving and joining the Heart. During the postseason, the Crusaders qualified for the A.I.I. Tournament hosted by Mt. Mercy in the downtown U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids

Clarke was matched up with Mt Mercy in the Quarterfinals, dominating the 1st half and winning 78-58. The next day they played the 1-seed and #3 team in NAIA holding tough through the 1st half but falling 89-71 by the end. Since A.I.I. had so many teams it was awarded 3 auto bids

During those postseason runs, the home crowd was able to witness net cuttings for a 2022 Heart Tournament Title and a 2023 Opening Round Championship.

From Feb. 6, 2019 to Jan. 10, 2024... nearly 5 full years, the Pride held a 70-4 record at home. An amazing 95% win rate in the Kehl Center. All four losses were against top-25 ranked opponents. The stretch included a perfect 10-0 record in postseason games.
