They highlight the need for updated vaccines to provide broad protection against new variants.

📢 | New insights into Omicron immunity and virulence

CVR researchers quantified virulence of #Omicron subvariants in hamsters using digital pathology. Newer variants such as BA.2.75 and EG.5.1 appear more virulent than original BA.1 strain.
