@ifeanyieneje@Teeniiola Reliance health is the health insurance. No, this is not an advert for them, I applaud them cos they were very very helpful, they were even the ones that referred me to the hospital where I did the surgery, and their customer care is top notch!
@ifeanyieneje@Teeniiola And no, I did not use a government hospital, I used three big private hospitals in Abuja. Nisa Premier, Cedar Crest and Zankli. All covered, I’m just grateful to God too cos I dunno what I would’ve done if not for the health insurance.
@ifeanyieneje@Teeniiola You have a point but I do not totally agree with Nigeria not having a good health insurance that people can rely on. I am a cancer survivor, stage 3B colon cancer and I did the surgery and chemo in Nigeria, and all under my HMO. They covered everything!

A thread:
I’m not one to rant, but this event really got to me. I felt scammed by some @ASKY staffs in Nigeria, and what was more annoying was how they took my boarding pass from me until I paid. So this happened this week on my way from Nigeria to Dakar.
It was when I boarded I noticed I had three tags, two were in my name and the last was in a different name… this was my first time using this airline. And what’s painful is how they made me thank them like they did me a favor
She told me that I had to send it to her personal account and she had to verify before they could release my boarding pass. I sent the money to her and they gave me my boarding pass and deceitfully led me to the gate like the flight was about to leave.
These people had already checked in the last bag under another name and had me stressed running around the airport like a mad person, they even had to send me back upstairs to make payments. I got there and asked that I transfer the money and the lady refused!
I lost my cool cos I didn’t want to miss my flight, these people started rushing me, that I have to pay the money or I’ll miss my flight, by this time I had to call a friend to send me the money. This was not after I discovered what broke my heart.
I had to do a quick transfer to my naira account but this time it took longer than usual for the money to drop, I waited until about 1hour to my flight when a staff walked in and told me that another airline had to start boarding.
I took some foodstuffs that were spread across three bags and got an extra luggage, I was willing to pay for the extra luggage, so they checked in two of my bags and gave me an invoice for the extra luggage, I went to pay but didn’t have naira.
HBD to me! If God has been faithful to you, please shout of His mercies and let people know of His love towards you. This is my long overdue testimony, and I pray it blesses and encourages someone to stand strong in Christ, because He is the only WAY.
