James, the Poles, and presumably many other Eastern Europeans, enter the country legally. They usually have an impeccable work ethic, many of whom hold down more than one job. They, generally speaking, do not cause any trouble, also many of them are entrepreneurs and tradesmen. Many do remainin the country, e.g. Henry Novak’s parents (or father, not sure if his mum’s Polish). But many, after having lived and contributed in the UK for many years, decide to leave and move back home. What is the problem? It just seems to me that they can’t win, regardless what they do..🤷🏻‍♂️

And Eastern Europeans don’t? Are you inferring that they don’t pay their taxes and contribute to the British economy, irrespective of them sending money home? And furthermore, I’d wager that an average Pole probably speaks more English and participates more in British culture, than your average Costa del Sol Brit, living in his own British enclave, and refusing to speak Spanish on a matter of principle. Trust me, I live in Portugal and have worked with Brits who’ve lived here for over 30 years, and will still ask for a coffee in English. The sense of entitlement is palpable.
