Hon' Minister seems to be unaware of the true position of North Eastern Tamils in SriLanka. The Indo SriLanka Accord of 1987 has recognized that the North&East are places of historical habitation of the #Tamil speaking. They are majority in their areas.1/3

When the Britishers unified the Country for admin purposes in 1833 there was a separate JaffnaKingdom. In terms of Intl. Covenants Tamils are a Nation and not mere minorities. The conflict continues as the State continues to grab lands of Tamils, attack Tamilspeaking people
